Voca ("the Service") is an AI-assisted speech writing tool that helps users create personalized speeches through guided conversation. The Service is provided by Voca ("we", "us", "our").
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using Voca, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
3. How It Works
- You provide your email address and basic information to start a session.
- You answer guided questions through text or voice input.
- The AI generates a speech outline and full speech based on your responses.
- You can preview approximately 60% of your speech for free.
- To access the full speech, a one-time payment of $29 USD is required.
4. Payment and Pricing
- The current price is $29 USD per speech, as a one-time payment.
- Payment is processed securely by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record.
- Prices may change at any time. Any price change will not affect speeches you have already paid for.
- All applicable taxes are handled by Lemon Squeezy based on your location.
5. Refund Policy
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your speech, you may request a refund within 7 days of payment, provided you have not downloaded the full speech text.
- Refunds are processed automatically — no emails, no questions asked.
- Refund eligibility: payment made within the last 7 days AND speech not yet downloaded.
- Upon refund, access to the full speech is revoked.
- Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy and may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.
6. Content Ownership
- Your content: The stories, details, and responses you provide remain yours. We do not claim ownership of your input.
- Generated speech: Once you pay for a speech, you own the generated text and may use it however you wish (deliver it, modify it, share it).
- Our service: The Voca platform, AI prompts, question flows, and user interface remain our intellectual property.
7. Strict Truth Promise
Voca is designed to generate speeches using only the information you provide. We instruct our AI to never invent specific facts, names, places, or events. However, AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing your speech before delivery and correcting any errors.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Submit content that is defamatory, harassing, or harmful.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Service.
- Use automated tools to access the Service (bots, scrapers, etc.).
- Resell speeches generated by Voca as a commercial service.
9. Limitation of Liability
Voca is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: inaccuracies in generated content, service interruptions, or data loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service ($29 USD per speech).
10. Service Availability
We strive to keep Voca available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Voca after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
